I.G Delhi Public School is run by Ishwardass Gupta Memorial Education & Research Training & Child Welfare Society Which is registered under the societies Registration Act- XXI of 1860.

Under the dynamic leadership of Shri Om Prakash Mangal, The Society Started its 1st School, I.G Delhi Public School, Mehrauli on 14th October 1984 on the 15th Death Anniversary of Lala Ishwar Dass Gupta and its Second School, I.G Memorial Delhi Public School, Sangam Vihar on 14th October 2005 on the 36th Death Anniversary of Lala Ishawar Dass Gupta.

The Main Aim and Objective of I.G.D.P.S is to impart integral education developing the mental, physical and spiritual potential of each child admitted to this institution.

To achieve its goal the school organises, educates and manages well equipped courses in the aforesaid fields and imparts training in as and when required in them.

Chairman Sushant Gupta

Mr Sushant Gupta is currently working as Vice Chairman of I.G Group of Institutions, managing I.G Delhi Public School Mehrauli and I.G Memorial Delhi Public School Sangam Vihar, with focus on providing best in class education to the weaker section of the society.

He has total work experience of four year prior to joining as vice-chairman , with Genpact Headstrong Capital Limited as Senior Engineer and Netcore Solutions as Manager Ad Sales.

He is a B.tech in Computer Sciences and MBA from MICA, Ahmedabad.
